Track Review

Time Bomb

Guitar intro which comes alive with some thrashing on the drums, getting your ears attention. The band demonstrate the talent that stands besides the award-winning artist. Jane gives that super stunning vocal which has a raw growl on the edge of each line. Great opener.

Beer You Drank

Straight into the vocal with crashing drums for this intro. Janes vocal like always is spot on, the backing is of a country feel and really goes with janes vocal style. The story is in the title and how it tells of the man after a drink or two.

Left Lane Boogie

Fast paced start that brings frantic vocals from Jane, the pedal is defiantly to the floor when a slap bass break comes in from Lana. Great track and a floor filler for sure. Keep out the left lane, this is her lane.

Queen Bee.

A track from the past that is still as fresh today as it was way back in 2023, hard hitting rock n roll with some of the best backing you will get to hear. Imagine Bo Diddly on Speed. I love the stop dead ending. Awesome track.

New Love

So, we come to the final track on the great 5 track E.P. and it ends with some classic rockabilly. this up-beat ballad tells the story of the new love in her life, it has some great guitar from the lady that is endorsed by Gretch guitar company. The band once again bring it to a halt in a flash.

Summary

Jane and the Deadend boys continues to keep the very core of rockabilly alive. The songs, music and style just reap of the very essence of this genre. Its not to imagine why she is an award winner and backed by the best companies in the guitar world. The band deserve every bit of credit for all the hard work they put into each release. Slap that bass wish you continued success.
