Review.

Well, we have been waiting for this release for a while now. Tormented by two single releases during 2024 to whet the appetite. This thirteen original tracks release from the man himself is full of self penned tracks along with a few original covers.. Each song tells the life story of the artist. Influenced very early in life by Elvis Presley. William taught himself the guitar and like many other stars copied the kings moves. You can defiantly hear the influence within the vocals. chatting to William he explaine the recording process to me “you’ll be mine and travel man were produced by Chris Kaufmann in the Blessville Studio here in South Tyrol (Italy) and instead all the other songs I did the pre-production in my studio (Recording Studio ‘94 )and the production was done by Flo Von Waldau in the Rookies & Kings studios (all in Southtyrol)”

Shakin of is not just an album, it gives every listener the chance to Shake of the worries and woes. Which is what the artist intended it to do. So, let’s turn the volume up and go track by track.

Like The King

A great guitar opener to this lip curling Elvis vibe track. vocals are really good, clear and cheerful. Some little bits of bad language (nothing serious). The backing is really well put together. Awesome first track. got my feet tapping and fingers snapping.

Golden Memories

This song will probably fit just about everybody. At the great fulfilling time of youth.  Before life turns into us into fools and horses. A jolly little track that can hit home with our very own Golden Memories. Great lyrics

Crazy Summer ‘99

A real rockin intro using electric guitar and a piano backing. Enter the vocals with an attitude of great lyrics from days of carefree living. imagine summer of 69 with but with days of beaches and beer, girls and bikini’s. would make a great 50s soundtrack song.

Nobody’s Perfect

Deep rooted lyrics. Gentle guitar and soft tambourine bring in this hard-hitting story. full of emotion and warnings of life’s hard road. But you got to walk it just to see that Nobody’s Perfect, great song that should be heard as a inspirational guide. Top tune.

I Cut My Hair

Get ready to rock n roll with this high energy track. with a real modern composition. Backing that would easily please some of todays great guitarist, the likes of Rob Brindley, Darrell Higham would be proud of. a real crowd pleaser.

Radio Sunshine

Full of energy, power and high-octane musicianship. Love the guitar riff backed with high pounding drums. some more great lyrics to match this maniac rock n roll. Simply brilliant, maybe not for the old school. But awesome for the knew kats.

Never Stop Dreaming

Heart searching mild ballad sang with a full spirit and emotion. Some sublime backing vocals that bring a personal feeling to the track. turn the light down low and start the dreaming with the your loved one in your arms.

Fun With You

Back to the hip shakin music that we all love. This is a floor filling hot jiver. Three minutes of top sounding rock n roll for you too enjoy. And you will. My favourite track so far.

Bye Bye Baby

The Elvis influence flows through the vocals on this fast-paced break-up song. Another well written track. some stunning guitar on the break. A real foot tapping beat and rockin rhythm. Im liking what I’m hearing, a modern and unique sound.

Forever

Be prepared for a excellent example of vocal key change, from deep down with a gut wrenching sound, to a higher scale that’s just filled with tears and lumps in the throat emotion. Its like Johnny Cash Meets Ricky Nelson. Simply perfect.

Travelman.

Philipp Burger collaborated with William T. and what a partnership they make, sung in the natural language so not sure of the lyrics. But the title tells you all you need to know. Burger who performs with Frei.Wild, is a German rock band from Brixen, South Tyrol, Italy. Its members belong to the German-speaking population of South Tyrol, Italy.

You’ll Be Mine

Chris Kaufmann was the composer of this faced paced rocker, the intro had me thinking that I had heard before? Then it came to me its on the same vibe as Elvis’s Promised Land. But the track is pure new edge rock n roll. Fast beat and plenty of rhythm to snap then fingers to. Williams key changes, play out well to the backing music.

Two Faces of Christmas.

A real curve ball to end this release on. It’s a great Christmas song, but really would suit being on a Christmas album. Not the final track on a cracking album of rock n roll.

Summary

Well an outstanding release from William T. he brings a new sound that is unique and refreashing to the speakers. His vocals are just great and backed by some great music. I played this album four times whilst reviewing it and enjoyed all four plays. This guy needs to be on UK stages alongside the Uks finest.
