3, zombie lament

Slow quiet start of twangy string and creepin drums, bring in hidden vox. get this creepy zombie on the go, makin a good rockin zombie, careful it don’t rock  your legs off. while summoning the little demon with its voodoo beat. Steady drum at end sections noticed by sharp symbol and catchy escalation guitar

4, Good Girls Don’t Wear Cha Cha shoes.

Ohhh I say ...

Start with wonderful guitar walking scale intro solo, enter the drums, strong beat , few bars  blast of vox, mean sounding, fast paced  rockin pulse. lyrics to catch your attention, guitar very catchy all way through, semi like using a flat note with neutral combine,  an direct backing yells. this tracks beat n vox ain’t takin to many prisoners. Keep it rockin...

5, P.S.A.

So were now half way. Intermission time vinyl with crackle and announcements with a lttlle ditty number, “let’s all go to the snack bar”. some Basic singing with a Ukulele backing(I think), Ending with a warning to behave with your...let’s say loved 1, other half in their cars. Instigating the shenanigans,

6 Redneck Mutant.

Well as aging suggests,  let’s have guitar or banjo for a bo getaway..

Very nice quick play with drum beat between each bar to start. Now let’s yee haw and roll into this fast thaunderockabilly, Ongoing fast paced with odd breaks of vocal yells, an very catchy guitar repeating pattern, if you got the energy you’ll wanna get dance in this rockin party.

7, kitty Johnson blues.

This track with its special guest keyboard player Ian Moore. A steady slower paced bluesy as again the title suggests.  lovely stroller style. snare n high hat with odd cymbal crash makes you want to have your shades on and click n snap your fingers, Bringing in the keyboard slow honky Tonk and jazzin the boogie blues up, very identifying,  all matched well with Damon’s low tone real koool vox , walk round like a suave Kool kat, this kitty Johnson must be one bad little kit kat, with its long slow fade out.

8, Sun Demon

Bassy line intro this time, slight off beat rhythm on the skins,  and laid back ,with intermitted emphasis of plucking and strumming, making any one wanna get up and stroll the floor  away, with a zing twist in your knee n foot, summoning the sun to come an play.

9, goodnight,

So to end this little unique gem off, in the title, goodnight with its vinyl crack matching it beginning,  calm acoustic sounding guitar with spoken words at the end of the album, giving it very own instructions as such and it own individual way of speaking direct with dark humour.

summery

So all in all folks this Is one is very unusual album not really intended for all ages or clubs but with open minded tasting with its all its elements of rockabilly, country rock, gothabilly ,sleezabilly , voodoo beat hillbilly an various sounds,Very direct dark humour lyrics, but Its a concept not used much which could well have more followers branching to use this kind style and individual tactic, with its speeches makes an interesting use of making the whole album sounding like it’s done as a two part show, all on an old vinyl playing through. adding culture to rockabilly and gettin a mid way snack beverage is a great idea, if you dare pending on where you are.

When you grab this unique lil gem you could be dancing the night out wanting more and wondering what is left up Damon’s....the very nice and helpful Kentucky chaps....sleeve or pot/forest/cauldron of tricks...

Very interesting..

Not really for kids...
