Well, were in for a rockin Crimbo treat with this quartet of brilliant rockers again, so let’s get our dancing shoes on an get our Santa hats on …clear the floor for dancing
Christmas together,
A nice strong opener here of riffing guitar and up paced drums straight in to a fill entering the vocals with Kerr clear and melodic toned, short verse of how we like crimbo to be in to chorus ensembled of all vocals and a clench guitar solo, bass bouncing along, some sung up sections jive the night in already a feel of mell and kim meeting Brenda lee.
Just Another Tear
A slow track this one of reminiscent of not so jolly past of what went wrong, done so peacefully. A short strumming entry intro to vocals for a verse into backin vocal and harmonizing, calm slow tidy drum and play through bass, how to pull the emotions in to get the one you love in to your arms, a little near end of a little dynamics of feelin back to record for a sweet romancing whisper spoken ending…of I love you… he wants her back ,go to him … quick where’s the tissues..
Rockin into Christmas
Now here we go ,the feeling of the million dollar quartet on this upbeat up tempo number, ready to bop n jive a quick guitar strum in, train a rollin paced drum snare beat , is that a trumpet or sax on the triple beat, jumping bouncing bass, think he standing on the upright , a very revived rockabilly guitar solo, Elvis meets brit bands. basic very effective, nice use of echo partially on the vocal, yes we really rocked in to crimbo there…
Tears for decoration,
Oohhh a sad slowy, great doowop slow dancer though get under the mistletoe, slow pace broken beat kind of of very slow tango feel, an echoed guitar Spanish electric feel, and a slow bass to join bluesy sound in to chorus of vocal in mid back to solo voice with the sound of a bell jingle rattle slow throughout, and a slow sung out finish, poor lonely tree , yes its full of tear decos….so much itll grow,
So all you lucky kats that was a mix trat for us all ,an something for very part of the festive ways as they say, the input anf effect of original 50s to 80s revival rockabilly and country U.S and U.K. with Elvis, Berry, shaky, Brenda and anyone else with a Christmas cracker all joined in the room to party…. some slow grab your other half soppys and some grab your partner and dance around the tree… or the upright bass that’s been spun around with tinsel….
I shall be having these on the airwaves within the next two weeks and should imagine at any clubs playin rock n roll will have at least a couple of these one picking up party mood and slow down section… thanks you Kerr
